After 28 Long Days, This Missing Dog In The Woods Finally Found Its Way Home!
The caller said three and a half miles, someone saw Shelby. Fry rushed to the area and surveyed it – looking for possible sources of food, water and a place where they can set five humane traps for Shelby. Fry waited and waited some more, but after a few days, Shelby never came.
Another call came in telling him Shelby was seen on a different location, so Fry went on his way the soonest time he can. Finally, after setting the trap, Shelby came 45 minutes after, and Fry succeeded in trapping the lost dog. She was so happy she was able to help find a missing dog lost in the woods, in the middle of the wilderness even if there is no guarantee she will succeed, but she did!
One Justin and his family heard the news, they broke down with happy tears running on their faces. Shelby had been missing for 28 days straight, and no one knows exactly what she had to endure during those long days and nights without her owners. She was able to survive 28 long days by herself, and her family had to survive 28 long days worried sick for her.
Shelby is very lucky to have owners like her family who never stopped looking. Justin says since Shelby saved him, it was only fitting to save her again. Thanks to Fry and the people who helped reunite Shelby and her family, they are back in each other’s arms, happy and relieved.
Shelby is so lucky to have been found as many pets are left stranded or missing, failing to be reunited again with their families. As owners, it is our responsibility to keep an eye on our pets and make sure they are kept safe and healthy at all times.
Some of the things we can do are by making sure they are wearing well-fitted and high-quality collars or harness secured to a durable leash. There are many options online, some of which you can find here. Let’s try and make sure we give the best for your pets, cause they deserve all the love and care in the world.
