What A Couple Thought Was A Deer Turned Out To Be A Very Skinny Dog. When You See His Transformation, You Will Be Amazed!

Once home, Billy did not only gain a new home with a loving mom and dad, but he also gained instant friends. The couple’s pet dogs, Remi and welcomed Billy with open arms and helped him get used to his new surroundings. With his new family and brothers, Billy started to open up and show his loving and playful side. He even found a new best friend, Remi!

But his road to recovery did not stop even after he was discharged by the vet. He needed physiotherapy every day for about month and Krista obliged, making sure she does what needs to be done to make sure Billy makes a full discovery. Billy’s parents started a Facebook page named Billy’s LIFE Journey to share his story and bring hope and joy to everyone who gets to see Billy’s story. There you get to see posts that feature the main hero of our story, Billy along with his new family. Lots fans, likes and followers later, Billy is now an internet superstar. He’s also actively participating in fundraising activities for other rescue dogs.

Billys is now happy, healthy and safe, thanks to the love and care his new family gave him as well as the people who supported Billy in his weakest times. However, many more animals, pet dogs, specifically, are out there, starving, dehydrated, with no home to go into and no family to take care of them. If only we can all be like this couple, who did not think twice to help a skinny stray dog, lost in the woods, then the world would have been a better place.

According to national estimates, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals noted that about 3.3 millions of dogs enter animal shelters, and about 710,000 are stray dogs.

We are not sure how many of the stray dogs have owners looking for them, or how many pet dogs are found by their respective owners and taken back home.

It’s sad to think they are dogs left alone to fend for themselves. How can man’s best friend be treated with cruelty and carelessness? I am pertaining to owners who leave their pets on the streets after changing their minds instead of taking care of them or looking for better owners.

As a dog owner, I know things can happen that can lead to events where the dog is either lost or are unable to make their way back home. I myself had an unfortunate experience of losing a dog and never got the chance to see them ever again, and it broke my heart to the core. Even if it’s already been years, the hurt is still there and makes its existence known every time I remember my dog or even see stories of lost and stray dogs.

I hope that one day, no dog, any other pet or animal will get to experience what poor Billy had to endure. It must have been a very frightening and traumatic experience to get lost without anybody to turn into, no food, no water, no nothing. I hope all the efforts of the government and non-profit organizations will pay off very soon, and that every pet owner is like the lovely couple who did not only felt sympathy for Billy but actually stepped up to help and even foster the stray and skinny dog. What a better place to live in that pets and humans living peacefully while loving each other unconditionally.
