Dog With A Fractured Jaw and Broken Teeth Finds A Reason To Smile Again
It was very obvious that the dog was in pain not just because of her body language, but the cries and whines you can clearly hear coming from her fragile body. The vet inspected her teeth and jaw and was confirmed that several teeth were broken and she has indeed a fractured jaw.
While under IV fluids, the rescuers place a wire around her lower jaw to facilitate the healing. After some time, she was able to heal and gained a healthy weight.
Dory is now a very active and playful dog. You can see her eyes smile every time she looks at you and is obvious she’s very thankful of those who helped her make it through her darkest moments.
This is another paw-inspiring dog rescue story. Like what they always say, no dog is just another dog. No dog rescue story is just another dog rescue story. No story is the same, no dog is the same and no rescue is the same. Details and plots may have some similarities, however, each is unique in its own way.
Upon research, I learned that the dog was hit by a vehicle which caused her painful injuries. what disturbs me the most is as to why did the driver who injured the dog did not even bother to fix her injuries up? Did the driver even stop to look at the damage he or she has done? Did he or she felt any remorse or guilt, knowing one dog was hurt?
Accident or not, with ill-intentions or not, the dog was supposedly in the wrong time and place, and it wasn’t even her fault! How could someone be cruel enough to leave an injured dog caused by the vehicle he or she is currently driving?
According to statistics, a large number of pet dogs and cats were killed on US roads alone in 2016. The approximate estimate was a staggering 6 million. And the numbers are from 2016, here in the US. How much more are added in other countries or nation?
