Dog Tied Up To A Poll Outside A Drugstore At Last Finds New Life! Awesome!

The staff at the Dekalb County Animal Services called out for Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue. Their volunteers are based in Atlanta, Georgia. One volunteer with Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull commented that Dempsey was a giant, bloody scab.
Dempsey was taken home by a volunteer and later underwent several treatments, from medicated baths to antibiotics. Knowing that love and care are the two most effective treatments for dogs, the volunteer with Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue, identified as Greenwald, ensured the dog was comfortable and looked after and timely medical intervention was available. Dempsey showed signs of recovery and in three short weeks he was recovering rapidly. In two months, Dempsey became a new dog, a far cry from the condition he was found in.

Dempsey was miserable and sad when found. He became livelier, peppy and extremely friendly. He was not only easygoing but also became a happy dog, a heartening development after the horrid past. Dempsey may be listed for adoption or the Greenwald family may keep the dog for the rest of his life.
