| The Five Languages of Love are the following.
- Words of Affirmation. All of us know someone loves us when we hear the words I love you. This is the most direct approach when it comes to letting your feelings known. In the video I’ll be sharing you later that is just at the end of the article, you’ll find some clips showing dogs trying to say I love you in the most heartwarming and adorable ways possible. We may think that dogs can talk, but they are not actually talking, but rather learned how to modify the sounds taught by their owners to make it sound like they are saying I love you. Words of affirmation are not only about I love you’s, but can be words of affection and praise.
- Acts of Service. This language of love is described as is. We do things for others to let them know we love them, we care about them, we think about them and that we want to be of service for them. For people who loves with acts of service, they are the types who believe actions speaks louder than words. There are people who feels they are loved by their loved ones when they cook for them, give them massages or even do chores here in there. For dogs, by obeying their owner’s commands and giving in to requests, they are already showing their love and respect for you. Some can help you with chores like putting the laundry in the washing machine, carrying groceries and even fetching you a water bottle or beer in the fridge.
- Receiving Gifts.Who doesn’t love receiving gifts, seriously? Everyone will be thrilled to receive gifts, especially from someone you love. It doesn’t matter how big or small or how cheap or expensive it is, a gift is a gift. When give gives during birthdays, Christmas or any special occasions, we try to come up with the best present. When it comes to dogs, the best gift they can give us are their unconditional love and companionship. And what’s the best gift to receive from your human love ones? Dogs of course!
-
Quality Time.We often hear that time is gold, and it certainly is. We actually do this for a living. The time sent to work on our jobs is paid off, maybe not in gold, but the fact we get something in exchange, which is usually money is what makes it very important. For people who’s love, language is quality time, they’d prefer you spending time with them rather than receiving gifts of hearing I love you. For dogs, you’ll have no problem in getting quality time as they’d very much willingly devote their time playing or even do nothing as long as you are there. There’s nothing like coming home knowing a dog is wagging their tails ready to lick you with the mere scent of you.
