Goldie, The Unwanted Dog’s Story. It’s A Miracle She’s Still Alive!

One day, a good Samaritan heard what happened to Goldie. Lucky for the unwanted dog, this caring local had a vet in the family. They immediately went to save Goldie from her horrible tomb. Too weak to move, they had to climb in, lift her up and carry her out of that drain. Upon closer look, Goldie is on the brink of death. She was very emaciated – literally skin and bones. You won’t even recognize her as a Labrador dog. But good thing is, she was still alive, and that was a good sign.They tried feeding her, but she can’t keep the food down. After taking Goldie home, they administered emergency care and called for help. They took him to Sunset Vet. There her rescuers found out she was actually an adult Labrador weighing only 9KG. they ran some tests, including X-rays which revealed the disturbing news.Goldie ingested many items that were indigestible such as plastic materials. Surgery is needed, but not possible.

In her current state, it would be a big risk, so they stabilized her. Someone learned about her and wanted to adopt her in foster care if she manages to make it through the surgery.Goldie survived!

She made it through the surgery and was finally adopted by someone who truly wants her. Goldie is no longer the unwanted dog.
