Hayden then contacted the Seymour Police Department to report the incident involving her dog’s sadistic attack. The police officers came to investigate after learning of the amount of cruelty the dog had to endure. Upon arriving at Howard’s residence, they went on surveying the area and found pieces of evidence that will not only show the cruelty but pinpoint the man or men behind the attack.

They found BB projectiles wedged in one of Howard’s trees, and there were able to pinpoint an estimate of how many were used against her dog. 20 some were pulled out from Jackson, 20 some were probably still inside of him and 20 more some hit him and bounced off the yard. More than 60 projectiles were shot at Jackson, and the projectile points to their next door neighbor.

After obtaining enough pieces of evidence and a search warrant, they found a BB gun, 2 guns, more that can be used against the neighbor with regards to the shooting. They also found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia as well as marijuana in the possession of Tim Woodward. He was arrested for other things but was not sure until this day if he was charged with animal cruelty yet.

Hayden was understandably shocked but was glad her baby is now well and fully recovered. At the time the video was released, a reward of $500 was posted to anyone who can give information about Jackson’s attack.

I was crying the moment I learned about the attack. How can anyone be so barbaric to attack a hopeless dog who is not even attacking anyone? I hope the perpetrator will be charged with animal cruelty and be given charges that will amount to the pain and discomfort poor Jackson had to endure.

What is happening to our world nowadays? I understand that not everyone wants or likes dogs no matter how lovable and beautiful they are, but to attack a poor soul just because you don’t like them is pure evil. If you don’t like dogs, that’s perfectly fine, just move on and go on with your life. No need to waste your time trying to ruin that dog and their family’s life.
