This Is The Moment When This Pit Bull Was Rescued. Amazing!

Over a period of about thirty years, I’ve owned approximately six pit bulls. I’ve owned a few other breeds over the years, but it seems as though the soft spot in my heart truly belongs to pits.

I have one right now, and her name is Sheila. She’s definitely one of the feistiest pit bulls I have ever met! She’s also one of the sweetest dogs I have ever come across in my life.

Best of all, she has more personality than a lot of actual people that I know!

I love pit bulls. I have had them for most of my life. It pains me to know that some people think of them in such negative terms. One of the most depressing things in the world to me is the mere notion of dog fighting. You also have to think about the poor pit bills who are confined to puppy mills.

I’m not trying to depress you with all of this. I just think it’s important to always remember the things that we are up against. There are dogs out there who need our help. I for one love coming across stories that remind me of this.

One of my pit bulls was actually a rescue. I also have the distinction of remembering the look on that dog’s face, when my dog realized their horrible nightmare was coming to an end. A recent story I came across reminded me of that fateful, wonderful day…
