This Mother Beagle in a Puppy Mill Tries to Save Her Babies She Doesn’t Know Yet What About To Happen

Dogs had been chewing on wood and metal out of frustration and boredom.

Tranter and her co-investigator looked around the shed but found no one. They chose to remain silent for a while to hear where the noise was coming from. Once they realized, they started looking closer to the wall. At one interesting spot, there was some plaster. Removing it revealed the cavity in the wall where there were four beagle puppies, cramped inside the tiny space.

The mother beagle clearly did not want the puppies to be out in the open. She could not find another place. She had delivered the puppies and thought it was safe to put them in the wall cavity. Where she got the idea from or how she managed to do it despite the other dogs being there is difficult to gauge. But it just shows what a mother would do and it also highlights what is wrong with laws regulating puppy mills.
