Dogs know who their real family is, and would do anything to protect their masters. Because of their unconditional love and boundless loyalty, their need to protect the people they love makes them do incredible things. Ther are very much willing to put their lives on the line, if that would ensure the safety of their humans.

Hearing stories of man’s best friend protecting, rescuing, and even taking bullets for their owners are not new. But why do they even bother risking their own lives?
Many studies believe that is a dog’s instinct to protect their family from possible threats. Since the dogs, we have come to know and love came from ancestors who are wolves domesticated by humans, many believed this is where their protectiveness comes from.
Another is the reason that they are brilliant. They know who takes care of them and who treats them well. As a token of appreciation, they offer us with their love and loyalty. They are very much willing to do everything they can just to make sure their loved ones are not hurt and are away from harm.
One great example if this is a story of a real “hero dog”. Just this year, June 29, a Facebook post became viral due to an incredible reason.
It started as a bright and beautiful day for Paula Godwin. She is an owner of two beautiful dogs who loves her dearly as much as she loves them. She went on an early morning hike with her babies and was even filming their little trip live on FB.
