Rescue Dog Loses His Mind When His New Dad Comes Home

He had been adopted by Mark and his family who have given him a comfortable, caring and loving home. But Mark had to go away for some time, not too long, just a week. That week was long enough for Patch to miss him. Surely Mark also missed him but he definitely had more on his plate than Patch. Also, Patch has had a helpless past so being able to stay with his family, being able to see them and touch them is more special.

When Mark returned after a week, Patch completely lost it. He did not know the extent of his happiness. He was ecstatic. He went mad. He leaped and jumped onto Mark, lorded over his arms and chest, licked him up and kept wagging his tail faster than the cylinders in the engine of a supercar.
Patch knew Mark would be back, he had other family members with him and nothing was wrong in his life. But he did have a significant piece of the puzzle missing. Mark was not there. The sheer joy Patch displayed and the love Mark got just reiterates what happens when a homeless gets a home, an unloved gets loved and not cared for gets cared for.
