This year, the 142nd Westminister Kennel Club Dog Show’s winner for the Best In Show is a Bichon Frise who’s white fluffy fur captured the attention of the judges. Its competitors id a borzoi from the hound group, a pug for the toy group and a Border Collie for the herding group. All dogs were judged by how they live up to the standards of their specific breeds. Out of all more than 2,880 dogs, a Bichon Frise proved to be the best one in the show this year.

The Bichon Frise, which meant “curly lap dog in French is considered among the non-sporting group in the US, although it is a toy group in the UK. The last time the breed won was way back in 2001, but thanks to this year’s winner, they have reigned supreme again.

Flynn’s win resulted from hard work, lots of shampoo, conditioner, tons of hairspray and Fairy Frost. It only goes to show that a lot of experienced and preparations is what it takes to win this prestigious dog show.
