Stray Dog With Her Stomach Split Open Was Rescued Just In The Nick Of Time
They wrapped her abdomen with gauze and had to put her on medication. She was clearly exhausted and slept like a baby within minutes after they laid her in a comfy bed.
They tried to patch her up by sedating her and sewing her exposed abdomen.
After some time, she started to heal. It’s safe to say she made an amazing recovery. She is now completely healed and happy! She was spayed and vaccinated and is now as active as ever. Her rescuers gave her a new name – Lola!
It’s sad to think what this poor had to experience. Having a cut is uncomfortable enough, but imagine having a cut as big as hers! It would have been very painful! The good thing is none of her organs were damaged as the cute was only skin deep. If it was cut just a little bit deeper, then her abdominal organs could have been hanging out already. She could have lost lots of blood, had a severe infection and even died. But the good news is she didn’t.
There are so many stray dogs in the world, but no one has a clear estimate as to how many there are in every country or state. There are numerous numbers of agencies, shelters, groups, and organizations dedicated in saving, protecting rescuing dogs and other animals and finding them the perfect home once they are ready, and for that, everyone, the whole world rather, should thank them for that. They deserve so much love, support, and donation for all the good things they do for man’s best friend.
However, many questions are still left unanswered. How many stray dogs are left in the street, in the deserts, in the wild? How many are injured and needed medical attention? How many are starved and dehydrated to death? How many are not found, and left to fend for themselves? How many were indeed found, but were not rescued?
