We may have lots of people and organizations who love and care so much for these dogs, but how much more are the people who don’t have concern or respect for animals? You can find many rescue stories on the internet, in the news, TV, radio, in your state, or country. How many rescues are made daily? How are many cries for help not responded to?

It’s sad to think what the world has become. What used to be man’s best buddy now seems to be a rag doll – a toy used by heartless humans who have nothing better to do than make the lives of animals miserable. They hurt them, tell them words you that even a human being would not live, neglect them by not showing affection, not fed, not giving clean water to drink if given at all. Worse, some abuse them to the point you’ll barely see life out of these poor pooches.

While some people, after getting tired of their company or getting tired of their pets, leave them alone in the streets, in the garbage, in the middle of nowhere. What did dogs do to be treated as such? What wrong did animals do to deserve the inhumane treatments some humans do to them?

As long as there are people who abuse, neglect and leave dogs behind, as long as there are people who have no concern for dogs, and as long as there are people who do not try to help rescue animals in need, the number of dogs and other animals that needed rescuing will not decline.

One can only hope all get to live in peace and harmony – man, dog and other animals in nature, just treasuring the life we were given. We only have one chance at life, and it’s about we start making the most out of it. Be brave and courageous when no one will. Be loving and caring when others fail to do so, and help those in need, be it humans animals or both.
