Sweet Dog Maya No Longer Needs To Live In A Junk Yard After 12 Hours Of Rescue Mission

Maya is a sweet dog who’s been living under conditions not fit for a man’s best friend. She was living in a junkyard surrounded by trash, filth, rubble and other items that a dog should not even be living with. No one is sure about how long she has been suffering the life of a stray dog, but according to reports, it has been far too long – years of abandonment and neglect.

She lived under no roof – constantly looking for a place to sleep on. How many sleepless nights has she conquered? How many hot days did she have to endure under the extreme heat of the sun? How many cold nights did she have to endure, as well as the freezing rain she had to take cover from?

When Maya’s rescuers came to the junkyard where she had taken refuge, it seems this sweet dog has given up on life. She did not dare move and stand up while being approached by strangers. She did not growl and or gave any warning that she did not want to be bothered. When you look into her eyes, it is evident she’s been suffering a lot for a very long time now.

Upon a closer look, she needs medical attention based on what they saw present on her body. She had not experienced bathed in a nice warm bath for who knows how long. Her skin is covered with insect bites, glass wounds, and nail injuries. Her skin was literally destroyed, and her fur dirty and matted. Abrasions are prominently indicating the tough life she had while living among trash.

While being inspected, she remained calmed and composed. She let her rescuers film her and turn her body around, letting them inspect her body. She did have a makeshift dog house covered in blue tarpaulins, but that is not enough to protect this poor dog from the harsh environment of the outdoors.

How did she acquire her sanctuary? Maya was found by village women and asked her owner to let them help her. He threatened them a couple of times, but they did not give up and eventually allowed them to feed the poor dog and give her some clean water to drink. The cabin Maya is staying at was actually made and provided by the good Samaritans who did not stop until they found a way to help her the best way they can.
