The Story Behind This Poor Poodle’s Five Pounds Of Dreadlocks Is So Horrific, You Won’t Believe It!

| When animals’ fur is matted and dirty, it can pose different health risks. Not only is it painful for them, but sores can develop as well as skin infections.
The number of animals rescued that day meant they needed lots of resources to pull. Not only are their hearts broken due to the condition of the poor animals, but they are in great need of resources like money to cover for the medical expenses, food and other needs of the rescues.
Thankfully, HSNT received outpouring love, support and prayers once the word was out. Thank s to the unwavering support of dog lovers, they were able to have enough resources to help these animals live a better life.
The North Texas community funded the veterinary care of the rescues while Petsmart offered free grooming for the animals who needed it.
Finally, Pierre’s heavy load was taken off him. His grooming took a long while as they had to shave off years of fur that matted incredulously carefully. After hours of shaving that had been done in sections, they successfully removed five pounds of fur.
Pierre was rewarded with a soothing bath afterward. His fleas were removed and are now happier without all the fur weighing him down.
Pierre along with other rescue animals are mostly healed and happy, and their vets have given the okay signal stating they are medically clear and ready for adoption. An update was posted by HSNT last July 1 that Pierre has found his forever home. The group is delighted, blessed and thankful for all who have given their love and support.
It is saddening to think that there are people who take animals under their wing only to neglect them afterward. What’s the point of taking a dog home if you’re not going to treat them as part of the family? When all they have to offer is love and loyalty, some are too blind to realize that they are more precious than designer bags or expensive cars.
It’s a great thing that many are showing their support to groups that have dedicated their lives to saving these poor dogs. There may be many who abuses and neglects animals, but I still believe the number of men and women, young and old are much more prominent in numbers.
What can ordinary people like us do to help? Social media has dramatically affected the way not only how we communicate and interact with each other, but opened our eyes to what is happening around the world. Thanks to social media, we can quickly learn if there is anyone or any animal that needed help, and we can reach out to share our love and support to rescue groups. We can also ask for help if we find any animals who needed it most or share useful information to the public.
With thorough research and the use of social media, we can do many things for the betterment of our community and our beloved animals as well. What can you do to help? Care to share what you plan or have done in the past that have helped made our world a better place for all? We can’t wait to hear it!
