The story of Cesar Millan is not like most rags to riches storied I’ve ever heard of. Through many hardships and ups and downs, he was able to survive it all. He may have been depressed before because of the many storms that life had thrown on his way, but he was still very lucky to have people stand by him, like his sons.

I never imagined Millan’s life was that rough. Now that I think of it, he’s been through much more struggles than I did, but everything went well for him in the end. It makes you wonder why would you assume you had a tough life when you think someone else’s is just plain lucky. With his life story, I learned there is more than meets the eye.

We should never assume anything without knowing the person’s life. I thought I had it rough, but what Millan went through was way worse than the previous and current problems combined. I’m just glad he’s doing well now.

As for the allegations of his techniques in handling dogs, I don’t think he really should be subjected to abuse. There is a fine line between discipline and abuse, and I believe what he does is what he thinks is best in making dogs behave in a more disciplined way. I agree with Millan – what we need is exercise, discipline, and affection goes a long way. Just look how it helped him!
